The Redmi Note 10S is a mid-budget Android smartphone that offers a great many features for a decent price. Designed by Redmi, a company based in India, this latest offering from Redmi consists of a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, an effort to attract consumers away from the cheap and compromise smartphones of the past. With the effort, the Redmi Note 10S tries to distinguish itself with its sleek looks and great user-experience quotient. One thing it does not have is any multimedia-outlet – at least not yet. The phone however, does have a respectable amount of storage space – more than many mid-budget phones.
In terms of camera features, the Redmi Note 10S is actually nothing special. It has a single 16-megapixel camera sensor on the rear – though if you look closely at the unit, you will notice that there are no optical zoom, as well as no image stabilization. This is in stark contrast to the slew of megapixels offered by other competitors, like the iPhone and HTC Evo Shift. The single 16 megapixel camera sensor does however come with Auto Focus, Flash, Digital zoom, Video recording in either JPEG or PNG formats.
The Redmi Note 10S smartphone has a well-designed home button that is directly below the battery pack – which is where you can find the power and volume buttons. If you were to look inside, you would notice that the Redmi Note 10S has two different cameras – one with an 8 MP resolution, and another with a 5 MP resolution. While the former is fitted with an auto focus feature, the latter offers a video mode, although the images are not as clear as those on the rear camera. This is where the Mediatek Helio G95E quad core processor comes in to save the day. It provides all the necessary support for the multi-core processor, by rendering the images with high resolution and low latency.
When it comes to the battery, the Redmi Note 10S smartphones from MediaTek can be considered successful in terms of standby power. It has a capacity of 1500 mA. This means that the phone can work for a whole day without having to restart. One interesting thing about this is that it also supports Quick Charge technology. Through the quick charge feature, the battery can be fully charged in just a matter of minutes, making it perfect for any user who needs a mobile phone that lasts all day long. The earpiece of the Redmi Note 10S can be connected to different audio gadgets to enhance the benefits of its speaker system, such as those that come along with some mobile phones.

The Redmi Note 10S features a dual camera setup, which is both unique and functional. The first is the front-facing camera, which offers a relatively decent view. The second camera is installed in the back and can be used for facial recognition. It is capable of detecting your smile and complete address, as well as the right kind of gestures, such as double tap or pinch to focus. If you want to use this smartphone even while you are sleeping, you can use the timer option to set a time limit.
One thing worth mentioning about the Redmi Note 10S is that its design runs on the smooth and durable Gorilla glass screen. However, this does sacrifice the phone’s ability to take clear pictures. For this reason, users need to make sure they have a good lens attached to their camera. Also, users need to make sure that their screen is charged and ready to go before they take any snaps. The rear camera of the Redmi Note 10S is also quite basic and lacks some of the cool features present in high end smartphones.
